DSSSB TGT Notification 2025 has been released to fill in 5346 vacancies for Delhi Government schools, for TGT posts in various subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, Natural Science, Social Science, etc. The selection process involves one tier (Technical/Teaching) CBT containing 200 MCQs each carrying 1 mark, followed by Document Verification. Candidates holding a Gradution/Master’s degree with B.Ed and CTET passed can apply from October 9, 2025, to November 7, 2025, in DSSSB official website, dsssbonline.nic.in.

DSSSB TGT Application Process 2025

DSSSB TGT Application Process 2025 is conducted through online mode from October 9 to November 7, 2025. To apply for DSSSB TGT 2025, candidates can follow the steps given below:

Registration: Go to DSSSB Portal dsssbonline.nic.in. Create a new user ID and password by giving your basic login credentials like mobile number, email ID, Name, DOB, etc.
Fill Application Form: With your registration number and password, fill in personal, educational, and contact details. Also, upload scanned copies of documents like signature, photograph, and educational certificates.
Fee Payment: Pay the application fee as per your category, through SBI e-pay.

DSSSB TGT Eligibility 2025

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for DSSSB TGT 2025:

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizen.
Age Limit: Candidates must be within the age limit of 18 to 30 years of age. But for the government servants age limit is relaxed up to 5 years, and contractual employees of the same departments. For the posts of Special Education Teacher, women candidates gets 10 years of age relaxation.
Age relaxation: DSSSB has relaxed the upper age limit for different categories which is given below:

Educational Qualification: All TGT posts except drawing teacher require Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in respective posts + B.Ed. + CTET pass. Drawing Teacher posts require a Diploma/Master’s/Bachelor's + Diploma in Drawing/Fine Art.

DSSSB TGT Tier 1 exam contains 200 MCQ-based questions, with each carrying 1 mark. The duration of the exam is 2 hours, with a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.

Note:

DSSB has set minimum qualifying marks for different categories,

General/EWS: 40%
OBC (Delhi): 35%
SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
Ex-servicemen: 30% +5%

Tie-Breaking Criteria: This will be based on higher marks in the subject-specific section, older age, and alphabetical order of the first name.

Ques: What is the salary structure for DSSSB TGT 2025?

Ans: The selected candidates will receive a salary in Pay Level 7, ranging from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month, along with additional allowances as per government norms.

Ques: Can candidates from outside Delhi apply for DSSSB TGT 2025?

Ans: Yes. Candidates from outside Delhi are eligible to apply, provided they meet the specified educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria.

Ques: Is there a sectional cut-off in the DSSSB TGT exam?
