What is AFCAT 2026 Exam?

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2026 is a national-level defence exam conducted by the Indian Air Force to recruit officers in various branches. Through AFCAT 2026, candidates can join the Air Force in the following branches:

Candidates selected through AFCAT 2 2026 are appointed as Flying Officers in the Indian Air Force. The salary of officers is determined according to the 7th Pay Commission, which offers an attractive pay structure along with multiple allowances and benefits. The basic pay for a Flying Officer starts at ₹56,100 per month (Level 10 pay matrix).In addition to the basic pay, officers receive several allowances such as Military Service Pay (MSP), Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and Flying Allowance (for Flying Branch).
