Indian Navy Group C Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Indian Navy Group C posts, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Syrang of Lascars	(a) 10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board.(b) Syrang Certificate granted under Inland Vessels Act, 1917 or Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.(c) Two years experience as Syrang-in-Charge of a registered vessel of twenty horsepower.
Lascar-I	(a) 10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board.(b) Knowledge of swimming.(c) One year experience on a registered vessel.
Fireman	(a) 10th pass from a recognised Institute or Board.(b) Knowledge of swimming.(c) Certificate of having completed pre-sea training course.
