Delhi Police Head Constable Physical Endurance Test (PET) 2025

SSC has defined PET for both Male & Female candidates. Candidates must qualify in race, long jump, and high jump to get selected for the next stage of the selection process.

Delhi Police Head Constable Trade & Computer Operations Tests 2025

Candidates who qualify for Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests (PE&MT) will be called for Trade and Computer Operations (Typing) Tests.

Trade Tests

  • The Trade Test is mandatory to appear in Proficiency in Computer Operations. Non-appearance or failing the Trade Test will lead to disqualification. It is done to assess the candidate’s ability to transmit and receive messages. It is qualifying in nature.
  • Test components:
  1. Reading Test: Candidate reads a passage in Hindi and English, and the reading will be videographed.
  2. Dictation Test: Conducted in Hindi and English, in groups of candidates.

    Candidates making more than 50% mistakes in Hindi or English dictation will be disqualified.

Proficiency Tests in Computer Operations

Candidates qualifying in Trade tests will be called for Proficiency Tests in Computer Operations. It is qualifying in nature.

Tests Components:

  1. English Word Processing Speed Test includes 1000 key depressions in 15 minutes or a 200-word passage typed in 15 minutes. Candidates making +25 mistakes will be disqualified.
  2. Test of Basic Computer Functions in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
