In addition, candidates must have working knowledge of the Odia language, including the ability to read, write, and speak it, and must have fulfilled any one of the following conditions:
  • Passed the Middle School Examination with Odia as a language or subject
  • Passed HSC or an equivalent examination with Odia as the medium of instruction for a non-language subject
  • Passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class 8 from a recognised school or educational institution
