GATE 2024 Counselling Process

It's to be noted that IISC Bangalore does not conduct any centralised GATE 2024 Counselling Process. Two separate GATE counselling processes are being held for M.Tech college admissions in India - Centralised Counseling for MTech (CCMT) and Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Annually, GATE CCMT and COAP counselling are held for getting admission into NITs and IITs, respectively. If a candidate secures marks according to the Cut Off Marks released he/she will be eligible to appear for the counselling process.

COAP is a unified platform where all participating IITs release admission offer letters within a common time window. IIT Kharagpur is overseeing the administration of GATE COAP 2024.
CCMT, functions as the Centralised Counselling for M.Tech admission across 52 NITs and CFTIS. A participating NIT conducts CCMT for admission to NITS, IIITs, and GFTIs.
Both COAP and CCMT act as a window for seeking admissions. candidates will not be able to secure admission based on their GATE scores without undergoing these counselling processes.
