Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Candidates must be 20 to 28 years as of April 1, 2024 (born between April 2, 1996, and April 1, 2004).
• Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved categories:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD (General): 10 years

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university as of December 31, 2024.
• Candidates in their final year/semester of graduation may also apply provisionally but must provide proof of graduation before December 31, 2024.

Language Proficiency

• Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT they are applying for.
• Language proficiency will be tested after the Main Examination (except for candidates who produce proof of having studied the specified local language in their 10th or 12th standard).

Selection Process

The selection process for SBI Junior Associates 2024 includes three phases:

1. Preliminary Examination
   • Objective test of 1 hour, consisting of:

• Total: 100 marks
• Negative marking: 1/4th mark deduction for each incorrect answer.

1. Main Examination
   • Objective test of 2 hours 40 minutes, consisting of:

• Total: 200 marks
• Negative marking: 1/4th mark deduction for each incorrect answer.

1. Language Proficiency Test
   • Candidates who clear the Main Examination and do not possess proof of studying the specified local language will undergo a Language Proficiency Test.

Final Selection: The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the Main Examination.

Pay Scale and Emoluments

• Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 26,730/- (including two advance increments for graduates)
• Monthly Emoluments: Approximately Rs. 46,000 (inclusive of DA, HRA, and other allowances)
