The declaration must be written in the candidate's own handwriting (in English only) and must read as follows:

“I, Name of the candidate, Date of Birth DD/MM/YYYY hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine.”

  • Declarations in capital letters will not be accepted.
  • The signature, thumb impression, and handwritten declaration must be clearly visible and made by the applicant only.

SBI Clerk Application Process 2026

SBI Clerk application process 2026 will be conducted entirely online through the official SBI careers portal. Only one application per candidate is allowed.

How to Apply for SBI Clerk 2026

Step 1: Visit the Official SBI Careers Website

  • Open a browser and go to bank.sbi/web/careers or sbi.co.in/web/careers
  • Under the “Current Openings” section, find “Recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) 2026” and click on it.

Step 2: Click on “New Registration”

  • Click the ‘Apply Online’ link.
  • Select “New Registration”.
  • Enter basic details like Full name, mobile number, email ID and security code
  • After submitting, you will receive a Registration Number and Password via SMS and email. Save these details carefully.

Step 3: Fill the Online Application Form

  • Personal Details – Name, DOB, gender, marital status, etc.
  • Category & Reservation Info – Mention if you belong to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-serviceman categories.
  • State/UT Preference – Choose the state you’re applying for. You can apply for only one state or UT.
  • Local Language – Choose the language you are proficient in (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
  • Educational Qualifications – Enter qualification, university, passing year, etc.
  • Work Experience (if any)
  • Choice of Exam Centre – Choose your preferred centres for the Prelims and Main exams.

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

Upload the following scanned documents in JPG/JPEG format:

Step 5: Preview and Verify the Form

  • Once all fields are filled and documents are uploaded, preview your application.
  • Carefully review all details.
  • You are allowed to edit the form up to 3 times before final submission.
  • Once satisfied, click “Final Submit”.

Step 6: Pay the Application Fee

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹750
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: Nil (No Fee)

Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card and Internet Banking

Step 7: Submit and Print the Application

  • After payment and final submission, the application process is complete.

Ans: No, Inter-State or Inter-Circle transfers are not allowed for Junior Associates. However, Intra-State transfers are permitted between circles within the same state, such as Delhi & Chandigarh in Haryana, or Mumbai Metro & Maharashtra Circle.
