Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially announced RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 under Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) No. 08/2024. This notification offers an exciting opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for 32,438 vacancies in Level 1 posts of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix in various Indian Railways units. RRB Group D Vacancy 2025

RRB Group D offers 32,438 vacancies for various posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with an initial pay of ₹18,000. Detailed railway-wise and post-wise vacancy distribution can be found in Annexure B of the notification.

Additionally, candidates trained as Apprentices in Railway establishments under the CCAA scheme are eligible for vacancies under specific provisions.

RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria 2025

Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 36 years
• A one-time 3-year age relaxation is granted to candidates impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Additional age relaxation applies for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen as per government norms.

RRB Group D Educational Qualification:

Candidates must meet the prescribed qualifications by February 22, 2025. Required Qualifications:

Candidates must have the necessary educational or technical qualifications as per the notification (Annexure A) from a recognized institution or university. These qualifications should be completed by February 22, 2025, the last date to apply.

1. Awaiting Results:

   Applicants waiting for their final exam results are not eligible to apply.

2. Engineering Degrees Not Accepted:
   • A Diploma/Degree in Engineering cannot replace the required Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA) or ITI certifications for Level-1 posts unless specifically stated.
   • Similarly, a Graduate Act Apprenticeship is not valid in place of the CCAA qualification.
3. Special Relaxation for Canteen Staff:

   As per the Supreme Court’s directive, canteen staff from the MB Division, Northern Railway (NR), are eligible to apply. Their minimum educational requirement has been relaxed to Class VII Pass, and their work experience will be given special weightage.

RRB Group D Medical Fitness:

Candidates must meet the medical standards specified in Annexure A of the notification. No alternative appointments will be provided for medically unsuitable candidates.

RRB Group D Application Process 2025

1. Candidates must create an account on the RRB website. If an account was previously created for CENs of 2024, the same credentials should be used.
2. During account creation, authentication via Aadhaar is recommended for smoother processing.
3. Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
4. The application form must be filled out with accurate information. Corrections can be made during the modification window (with a fee of ₹250) but cannot include changes to email ID, mobile number, or the chosen railway.

RRB Group D Selection Process 2025

RRB Group D 2025 selection process will include the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): Details and results will be uploaded on the respective RRB websites.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Dates will be communicated via RRC websites.
3. Document Verification & Medical Examination: Candidates will be informed about the schedules on respective RRC websites.
