RRB Group D Age Limit 2026

Candidates applying to RRB Group 2026, must be within the age limit of 18 to 33 years (as on January 1, 2026). Age limit as applicable to this CEN 09/2025, is 18 to 36 years (to provide opportunity to candidates who have exceeded age due to COVID-19 Pandemic). Candidates must ensure that their DOB Certificate is between the dates as given below:

RRB Group D Age Relaxation 2026

In RRB Group D Age Relaxation 2026, the lower age limit is 18 for all categories. However, RRB has relaxed the age limit of candidates belonging to reserved categories, which are given below:

RRB Group D Educational Qualification 2026

RRB Group D Educational Qualifications 2026 are given below:

Candidates must have completed their Class 10th.
Candidates must possess the required Educational/Technical qualification from a recognized Institute/University by February 22, 2026.
Awaiting results, candidates are not eligible to apply for RRB Group D exam 2026.A
Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted in place of ITI/CCAA for Level-1 posts (unless specified).
Graduate Act Apprentices are not valid substitutes for Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA).
As per the Supreme Court order, canteen staff of MB Division NR can apply with a relaxed minimum qualification of Class VII pass (experience weightage applicable).

RRB Group D Nationality 2026

As per RRB Group D Nationality criteria, a candidate must be:

A citizen of India, or
A citizen of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2, 3, 4 and 5 as mentioned above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

RRB Group B Physical Requirements 2026

Candidates must meet the following physical requirements:

Male	Lift & carry 35 Kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes, without putting it down (one chance). Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds (one chance).
Female	Lift & carry 20 Kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes, without putting it down (one chance). Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds (one chance).
PwBD	Exempted from PET. Must qualify CBT and clear the prescribed medical examination for PwBD.

RRB Group D Medical Standards 2026

RRB has specified certain medical standards that candidates must meet to get selected in RRB Group D. The medical standards are given below:
