TNPSC exam pattern 2026 is structured to assess a candidate’s aptitude, knowledge, and personality through multiple stages. Prelims has objective (MCQ) papers and is used as a screening test, and has 2 papers that include GS and Aptitude Tests. TNPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2026
TNPSC Mains exam pattern is designed to assess candidates' in-depth knowledge and understanding of various subjects. The pattern and structure vary across different groups and services. All papers of the Mains exam are descriptive in nature. In Mains, the language paper is qualifying in nature. This Mains exam pattern is for Group 1 and Group 2.

TNPSC Interview exam evaluates candidates' personality, communication skills, and suitability for the role. However, the pattern and marking scheme vary with groups and services. This stage of selection is for Group 1 and Group 2.
