TNPSC Group 2025 Application Process

Candidates must follow the step-by-step online process to successfully submit their application for the TNPSC Group 2 and 2A Exam 2025.

Step 1: Visit the Official TNPSC Website

To begin the application process, candidates must first visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission at www.tnpscexams.in.

Step 2: Complete the One Time Registration (OTR)

If the candidate has not already registered with TNPSC, they must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) by providing basic details like name, date of birth, mobile number, and Aadhaar number. The OTR registration fee is ₹150 and is valid for five years. Those who have already completed OTR can skip this step but must ensure their profile details are accurate and up to date.

Step 3: Log in with OTR Credentials

After completing OTR, candidates need to log in to the website using their registered User ID and Password. These credentials will give them access to the TNPSC Group 2 and 2A online application form.

Step 4: Click on the Group 2 Application Link

Once logged in, candidates must locate the TNPSC Group 2 & 2A 2025 notification under the “Latest Notifications” or “Online Application” section. They should click on the “Apply Now” link provided for this recruitment.

Step 5: Fill in the Application Form

Candidates must carefully enter all required details in the online application form. This includes personal information, educational qualifications, community/category details, post preferences, and other eligibility-related information.

Step 6: Upload Photograph and Signature

Applicants must upload a recent passport-sized photograph and signature in the format specified by TNPSC. The photograph must have been taken after the date of notification and should clearly display the candidate’s name and the date it was taken at the bottom.

Step 7: Upload Supporting Documents (if applicable)

Candidates claiming reservations or other concessions must upload scanned copies of the relevant certificates. These may include community certificate, disability certificate, ex-servicemen certificate, or educational equivalence certificate, depending on the candidate’s category and claims.

Step 8: Pay the Examination Fee

The fee for the Prelims Examination is ₹100. The fee for the Main Examination, which is ₹150, will be applicable only to those who qualify in the prelims and are shortlisted. Fee payment can be made through online modes such as net banking, credit card, or debit card.

Step 9: Submit the Application and Save a Copy

Finally, candidates should review the entire application form thoroughly. Once satisfied with the details entered, they must submit the form. It is advised to download and save a PDF copy or print the submitted application for future reference.
