TNPSC Group 2 exam includes several posts. The primary criteria of application process for any of the posts is the nationality of the candidates. The applicant must be a permanent citizen of India. Here are the other guidelines for the candidates who are residents of India from foreign countries:
Note: The applicant belonging to categories 3 or 4 or 2 should also obtain a certificate of eligibility given by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

On the other hand, the age limit for the post of Deputy Commercial Tax officer is 18 to 30 years. However, for candidates who have completed a Law degree, the upper age limit is 32 years for general candidates and 37 years for reserved categories.
