Documents Required for TNPSC Group 4 2026

TNPSC Group 4 application form 2026 requires candidates to keep certain documents beforehand. This helps in smoothly filling out the application form. The documents required for TNPSC Group 4 are given below:

  1. Passport-sized Photograph: It must be in passport-size, color, frontal view against a white background, showing ears and part of the neck. Selfies, family photos, tourist photos, or low-quality scans are not allowed. Save the photograph as “Photograph.jpg”.
  • Height: 4.5 cm; Width: 3.5 cm; Candidate image: 3.0 cm; Name & date: 1.5 cm.
  • Include the name and date of the photograph printed at the bottom.

  • Drawn in a 6 x 2 cm box on white paper and signed within it using black or blue ink.

Educational Qualification Proof: The documents required are the tenth standard (SSLC) or twelfth standard (HSC) mark sheet, issued by the Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education and Tamil Nadu Board of Higher Secondary Education, respectively. Other documents like Diploma/ Degree/PG Degree/Integrated PG Degree/Provisional Degree or Provisional Diploma Certificate/Consolidated Mark Sheet, along with Degree or Provisional Degree Certificate, shall be accepted as proof of educational qualification. Their size should be in 200 KB and in PDF format.
  3. Aadhaar Card: It should be in PDF format, in of 200 KB.
  4. Community Certificate (if applicable): Candidates from the reserved category must give proof of their belonging. It should be of size 200 KB and in PDF format.
  5. Disability Certificate (if applicable): PwBD candidates must give proof of their category, whose size should be 200 KB and in PDF format.
  1. Proof for Ex-Servicemen (if applicable): Candidates from this community must provide exact details as per their discharge certificate given by the Army or Navy, or Air Force. Its format should be in PDF, with a size of 200 KB.

TNPSC Group 4 Application Form Correction Window

After TNPSC Group 4 online application form filling ends, the commission will open a correction window for 3 days. During this period, candidates can edit or modify details entered in their online application form. No changes are permitted after the correction window closes. The details submitted after correction will be considered final for processing the application.

Candidates can edit their application fee till the last day of application form filling and during the correction window phase. But the commission has mentioned that further changes will not be entertained under any circumstances.
