As per the latest update, the UPPSC PCS Mains 2025 admit card has been released on March 21, 2026, and the Mains examination is scheduled to be held from March 29 to April 1, 2026 in two shifts each day for candidates who qualified in the prelims exam.

UPPSC 2025 Application Process
UPPSC application process is online and requires candidates to complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the official UPPSC website. The registration for the exam has begun in Late February 2025. Candidates should avoid any last minute delays. Here is the step-by-step UPPSC application process 2025:

Stage One - Authentication via O.T.R.:
- Click on Apply and then Authenticate with O.T.R.
- If you've already completed the One-Time Registration (O.T.R.), select 'Yes', enter your O.T.R. number, and proceed. You'll be authenticated via an OTP sent to your registered mobile/email.
- If not registered, choose 'No', go to the O.T.R. portal here, register, and then return to the application page to continue.

Stage Two - Fill in Personal Details:
After successful authentication, your details will automatically appear. You will need to:
- Fill in essential qualifications required for the post you are applying for.
- Choose from the options [PCS Examination-2025], [ACF/RFO Examination-2025], or [PCS/ACF/RFO Examination-2025 (Both)] as per your eligibility.

Stage Three - Fee Payment:
After completing the form, proceed to the fee payment page:
- Select one of the payment methods: Net Banking, Card Payments, or Other Payment Modes.
- After payment, you’ll be directed to a "Payment Transaction Slip" page. Save or print this slip for your records. If payment fails, go back to your dashboard and complete the payment process.

Once your payment is confirmed, your application form will appear.
- Take a printout of the completed form for future reference. This printout should be kept safely in case you need it during verification or in case of any discrepancies.

UPPSC Mains Admit Card 2025
UPPSC Mains Admit Card 2025 has been released on March 21, 2026. You will be able to download it from the UPSC official website with the help of registration number and other login details. The admit card will have all relevant information including your roll number, registration number, exam center address, etc. You must check all the details carefully and contact the authorities in case of any discrepancy. A printout of the admit card along with a photo ID proof is required on the exam day.

UPPSC 2025 Exam Pattern
UPPSC 2025 Exam Pattern is different for Prelims and Mains exams. The former has objective MCQ-type questions while the Mains has descriptive questions. The details of both are given here.
UPPSC Prelims Exam Pattern
- The Preliminary exam will constitute two question papers.
- Paper I is considered for merit while Paper II is qualifying with the required score of 33%.
- There is a negative marking of 1/3rd of the assigned marks for every wrong answer.
- The duration of each paper is 2 hours.

UPPSC Interview
UPPSC interview will be conducted for 100 marks. You will be assessed on your general and academic interest, along with your general awareness, intelligence, character, expression/ power/ personality, and general suitability for the service.
The details you enter in the Detailed Application Form before the Mains exam is very important as the questions are generally based around that. The Interview or Personality Test will be conducted at the UPPSC’s office at Prayagraj.

UPPSC 2025 Salary
UPPSC 2025 salary differs by post and the basic posts have a pay scale of Rs. 9300- 34,800 (Grade pay Rs. 44600) and Rs. 15600- 39100 (Grade Pay 5400). However, the post of Naib Tehsildar is an exception, as its pay scale is between Rs. 9300 and 34800 with the grade pay of Rs. 4200.
UPPSC Selection Process 2025
UPPSC selection process 2025 is completely offline.The selection process for UPPSC PCS 2025 involves three main stages:
- Preliminary Examination: This is the first stage of selection, consisting of objective-type questions.
- Main Examination: Candidates who qualify in the prelims will proceed to the main exam, which includes written papers.
- Interview: Finally, shortlisted candidates from the main exam will appear for an interview. The overall performance in all three stages will determine the final selection.

UPPSC Answer Key 2025
UPPSC Prelim answer key 2025 has been released for its October 12, 2025 Prelims. It is provisional answer key and candidates can raise objections against it if required. The Commission activates the objection only for a certain period and you need to pay for your objection. The final UPPSC answer key has been issued after considering all the objections and representations. You must note that no objections against the final answer key will be entertained under any circumstances.
