BPSC Prelims 2025 application forms were out on the official website on June 1, 2025. The last date to apply for BPSC 71st Prelims 2025 was June 30, 2025. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the form.

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) administers the recruitment of BPSC Exam, where numerous posts under governmental departments are appointed. BPSC Eligibility Criteria 2025: Age Limit

The age limit for BPSC 71st Prelims 2025 Examination is calculated as on August 1, 2025. Candidates must be between 21 and 37 years of age to apply. Age relaxation is provided up to 40 years for EBC, and BC categories, and up to 42 years for SC, ST, and persons with disabilities (PwBD). Women and other reserved category candidates also receive age relaxations as per Bihar government rules.

Important points regarding BPSC 2025 Age Limit

  • As per official rules, there is no constraint on the number of attempts as long as candidates’ age criteria are crossed.
  • For government representatives who have been in continuous service for at least three years:
    • The number of Attempts is three.
    • Rest in Upper Age Limit is of 5 years.
  • For Persons with Disability (PwD), the higher age limit is relaxed by ten years.
  • Ex-servicemen, under the age of 53 to 55, can avail BPSC age relaxation of three years plus the number of years in service.
