BPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2025

BPSC Mains Examination 2025 is the second and most crucial stage of the selection process. Unlike the prelims, the mains is descriptive in nature and tests a candidate’s ability to analyze, explain, and present their knowledge effectively. The marks obtained in this stage are counted towards the final merit list, making it the most important phase of the exam.

The exam consists of four compulsory papers and one optional subject paper chosen by the candidate. Candidates must carefully select their optional subject, as it plays a decisive role in the final score.
