Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released JKPSC CCE Mains 2026 Notification on February 13, 2026, for 80 vacancies in J&K Administrative, Police, and Accounts Services. The online application process will begin on February 16, 2026, and candidates can apply till March 9, 2026. Only candidates who have qualified for JKPSC CCE Prelims 2025-26 are eligible to apply for the Mains exam. JKPSC CCE Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates have to meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for JKPSC CCE 2026. They are mentioned in detail below:

Nationality

  • Candidate must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Candidates must meet the following maximum age limit to be eligible for JKPSC CCE 2026:

  • In-service candidates must have completed 2 years of substantive service as of 01-01-2025 to claim the upper age benefit.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have the following educational qualifications:

  • Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from:
    • A recognized University in India,
    • OR a Foreign University declared by the Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to a recognized Indian degree.
  • Candidates appearing in the Bachelor’s degree examination:
    • Must have appeared in the qualifying exam on or before 24-09-2025 (the last date for application submission).
    • Must provide proof of qualifying for the exam before filling up the Mains Exam online form. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification for the Mains Exam.
  • Medical (MBBS/Other Medical exam) candidates:
    • If not completed internship by the time of Mains Exam application, must submit a certificate from the university/institution stating they have passed the final professional medical exam.
    • Must produce original degree or certificate of internship completion at the time of the interview.

Reservations

  • Candidate must have a valid relevant category certificate as on or before September 24, 2025.
  • EWS: Must submit the certificate in Form XIV-A of SRO-518 dated 02-09-2019. No other formats accepted.
  • Candidature is provisional till verification of certificates by the Appointing Authority.
  • False/fake certificates will lead to debarment and penal action.
  • Horizontal Reservation: 1 Post reserved in the Administrative Service for "Deaf & Hard of Hearing" category as per government order.
