- The initial SSC CGL Tier 1 result were declared on December 5, 2024.
- The shortlisted candidates were categorized into three lists:
- List 1: Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) - 18,436 candidates.
- List 2: Statistical Investigator Grade II - 2,833 candidates.
- List 3: All Other Posts - 165,240 candidates.
- Reason for Revisions:
- The revision follows orders from the Principal Bench, Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), New Delhi:
- Order dated January 16, 2025 (OA No. 474/2025).
- Order dated January 17, 2025 (OA No. 239/2025).
- As a result, 525 candidates were allowed to provisionally appear for Tier 2 on January 20, 2025, pending the outcomes of these cases.
