SSC CGL Educational Qualification 2024

SSC CGL Nationality Criteria 2024

  • Indian Citizen: You must be citizens of India. you should possess a valid Indian passport or any other proof of Indian citizenship.
  • Subject of Nepal/Bhutan: If you are a subject of Nepal or Bhutan then you are eligible to apply for the exam. However, you must provide the required documents and legal permissions to work in India.
  • Tibetan Refugees: Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India are eligible to apply for the exam. They need to possess the necessary certificates issued by the Government of India to prove their refugee status.
  • Individuals of Indian Origin: Candidates of Indian origin who have migrated from certain specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible to apply for the exam. They must possess the required documents, such as a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Central Government Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of application can apply for SSC CGL up to 40 years. To apply for this examination you must at least have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized univrsity. While filling up the application form, you must select Central Government Civilian Employee.
