SSC CGL 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for SSC CGL 2025, candidates must meet specific eligibility conditions related to nationality, age limit, and educational qualifications as prescribed by SSC. The following SSC CGL eligibility criteria ensure that only qualified and eligible candidates appear for the examination:

1. Nationality

The candidate must be:

• An Indian citizen, or
• A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee (who came to India before January 1, 1962), or
• A person of Indian origin who migrated from select countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 27 to 32 years (depending on the post)
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.

3. Educational Qualification

• A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university is mandatory.
• For certain posts such as Assistant Audit Officer, additional qualifications like a degree in commerce or related disciplines may be required.

Application Process for SSC CGL 2025

SSC CGL application process will be carried out online through the official SSC portal. Below are the steps to apply online for SSC CGL 2025:

1. Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in
2. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) using a valid mobile number and email ID
3. Log in with your credentials and fill the online application form
4. Upload necessary documents such as photograph and signature
5. Pay the application fee
6. Submit the form and take a printout for reference

SSC CGL 2025 Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in two tiers as mentioned below:

SSC CGL Tier 2 – Mains Exam (Computer-Based Test)

• Tier 2 will be held in multiple shifts depending on the post preferences and options selected.
