AFCAT 2 2024 Notification has been released via employment newspaper on May 20, 2024. A total of 304 vacancies are announced in the Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. You can register for AFCAT 2024 from May 30, 2024.
Once selected, you will be provided with a salary of INR 56100–177500 as per level 10. The last date of online registration is June 28, 2024.

Step 1: Visit the official website of AFCAT i.e. afcat.cdac.in

Step 2: Click on Apply Online” link listed on the Home Page.
Step 3: Register on the official website if you are a first time user or login using candidate credentials.
Step 4: Start with the AFCAT online application form once registered.
Step 5: Upload the required documents & pay the applicable Application Fees.
Step 6: Print the final Application Form once done.

You will be awarded with three marks for every correct answer. On the other hand, one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks are given for unattempted questions.
Ques. What is the exam pattern of the AFCAT Exam?
Ans. The AFCAT written exam pattern is released officially by the IAF. the questions are asked from General Awareness, Reasoning, English and Numerical Ability. You are required to solve a total of 100 questions in 2 hours. The exam is conducted in English language only. Negative marking is also there.
Ques. What is the selection process for AFCAT 2024?
Ans. The AFCAT Selection Process consists of a written exam followed by AFSB. A provisional merit list is prepared based on your performance in both the written test and the AFSB interview. After that, you are required to go through the medical exam conducted either at Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME), New Delhi or the Institute of Aviation Medicine, Bengaluru.
