UP Police Board Issues Clarification on Exam Dates 2023, Flags Fake News

UPPRB issued a clarification on X (formerly Twitter) after a fake notification surfaced online that contained the dates for the UP Police Constable Exam 2023. According to the falsified notification the exam would take place on June 29 and June 30, 2024. Despite this, the UPPRB has admitted that no such UP Police Exam dates for 2023 have been published. It is advised that candidates ignore any unofficial information and bide their time until the Board issues an official announcement.

Many fake notices on the schedule for the exam have been circulating on social media since the government announced that the exam will be held in six months. Examinees will be able to obtain their UP police direct recruitment admit cards via the official website, uppbpb.gov.in, as soon as the exam dates are announced.

The notice further states that there would be legal repercussions for anyone discovered to have disseminated misleading information. To prohibit the dissemination of false information and protect the integrity of the recruitment procedure, authorities are determined to hold those responsible accountable.
