Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has begun UP Police SI Application Process 2026 to fill 4,543 vacancies for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) and equivalent positions in the Uttar Pradesh Police. The application process is entirely online, and candidates are required to complete the mandatory One-Time Registration (OTR) before submitting their application. UP Police SI 2026 application process has begun along with the release of the detailed notification. Candidates must complete OTR first, then proceed to fill out the SI application form. To apply for UP Police SI 2026, follow these steps:

Step 1: Complete One Time Registration (OTR) 

  1. Go to the official UPPRPB website and locate the One Time Registration (OTR) section on the homepage.
  2. Choose “New OTR Registration” and input your full name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email.
  3. Verify your mobile number and email via OTPs.
  4. Create a secure password for your account, then upload a recent passport-size photo and your signature.
  5. Submit your details and note your OTR ID for future applications.

Once OTR is completed, you will not need to re-enter this information again when applying for future UP Police vacancies.

Step 2: Apply for UP Police SI Position

  1. Once UP Police SI application window is open, log in using your OTR ID and password.
  2. Navigate to the “Active Advertisements” section and select the advertisement for Sub-Inspector (Civil Police)/Platoon Commander 2026.
  3. Your OTR details will be auto-filled, but you need to complete the remaining fields like category, domicile, education qualifications, and preferences.
  4. Upload the required documents, including the Class 10 certificate for birth verification, graduation marksheet for educational qualification, and any caste or domicile certificates (if applicable).
  5. Review all the information carefully. Once you confirm the details, proceed to the payment page.
  6. After successful payment, note your application number and download the confirmation page for your records.
