Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released UP Police exam pattern for the post of UP Police SI, ASI and Constable Posts. The Exam Pattern for UP Police Constable & SI (Sub-Inspector) posts are different. The number of sections is the same for both exams. However, in the UP Police Constable exam, there will be a total of 150 questions of a total of 300 marks while in the UP Police SI exam, there will be 160 questions of a total of 400 marks. This examination is based on objective-type questions.
The overall paper is 300 marks with 150 questions in total.
The four different sections in the paper include General Hindi, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability.
Each question carries 2 marks
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.

UP Police Sub-Inspector Exam Pattern 2025

The UP Police exam question paper for the Sub-Inspector posts consists of MCQ type. The medium of the exam will be both Hindi and English except the language section. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
