RPF SI Syllabus 2026: Exam Pattern, Important Topics & Subjects

RPF SI exam has questions from 3 subjects: General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning. In the exam, you get 120 questions carrying 1 mark each. If you clear the online-based test, then you appear for the Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Measurement Test and Document Verification rounds. Questions asked in the exam are of a graduation standard. Each question will be worth 1 mark, and the exam duration will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. (90 Minutes). The syllabus explains the subjects and their important topics to be covered for the preparation of the RPF SI exam.

Candidates who clear the CBT online test next he/she will be called for the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Eligibility Test.

Candidates can start the preparation by starting the books such as Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Exams by RS Aggarwal, Fast Track Objective Arithmetic by Arihant Publication and A Modern Approach to Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by RS Aggarwal. Candidates are advised to go through the last six months of current affairs. They should read newspapers and magazines for daily current affairs. Candidates must attempt mock tests and different questions from the topics. Revise the basics and mathematical formulas of all the chapters.
