Candidates for BSSC Stenographer Typist Grade 3 2025 need to meet the eligibility criteria set by BSSC. BSSC Stenographer Reservation Criteria 2025

Candidates seeking reservation for BSSC Stenographer Typist Grade 3 2025:

  • Must have a permanent residence in Bihar.
  • Must have submitted valid caste, non-creamy layer, domicile, and disability.
  • Must have 35% horizontal reservation for women.
  • Must have 4% horizontal reservation for PwBD.
  • Freedom fighters’ grandchildren will get 2% horizontal reservation.
  • Transgender/Kothi/Hijra will get backward classes reservation eligibility.

BSSC has given no limit to the number of attempts a candidate can take to appear for BSSC Stenographer Typist Grade 3 2025.

BSSC Stenographer Educational Qualifications 2025

Candidates must have completed their Class 12th. However, candidates require following criteria for Stenographer/Shorthand Typist:

  • Certificate in ITI (2 year course certified by NCVT/SCVT)
  • Polytechnic (3 year engineering diploma) or equivalent to Intermediate.

  1. Shorthand: Hindi & English dictation for 80 words in 4 minutes, speed 320 words/4 minutes.
  2. Typing:
  • Hindi: Mangal font, Remington Gail Keyboard, 300 words in 10 minutes.
  • English: UTF-8, English (US) Keyboard, 300 words in 10 minutes, 30 words per minute.

For candidates with benchmark disability (Visually Impaired), compensation time will be given. Passing criteria for BSSC Stenographer Typist Grade 3: Shorthand speed 10% more than inaccuracy, Typing 1.5% more than inaccuracy.
