Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the detailed IBPS Clerk (Customer Service Associate) Notification 2026 under CRP CSA-XVI on its official website. The notification contains complete information regarding 11,403 vacancies, eligibility criteria, age limit, educational qualifications, application process, exam pattern, syllabus, selection process, and important dates. As per the official schedule, the online application process will be conducted from August 1 to August 21, 2026.

IBPS Clerk 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are required to fulfil the following criteria to be eligible for IBPS Clerk 2026:

Nationality

To be eligible for IBPS Clerk 2026, the candidate must be:

  • A Citizen of India. OR,
  • A subject of Nepal/Bhutan. OR,
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement. OR,
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc., with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

Age Limit

Candiates must meet the following age criteria, as on 1 August 2026:

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years (after deduction of military service from actual age)
  • Widows/ Divorced women: 9 years

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have the following Educational Qualifications to be eligible for IBPS Clerk 2026:

  1. Minimum Requirement: The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
  2. Computer Literacy:
    • Operating and working knowledge of computer systems is mandatory.
    • Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operation, OR studied computer/IT as a subject in school or college.
  3. Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT: Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak the local language of the state/UT for which they are applying.

IBPS Clerk 2026 Application Process

IBPS Clerk Application 2026 will be held online at the official portal of IBPS. Candidates can apply for IBPS Clerk 2026 between these dates, following these steps:

  1. Visit the Official IBPS Website: ibps.in
  2. Click on “CRP Clerks XV” link when applications are active.
  3. Register: Click on “Click here for New Registration”. Enter your name, mobile number and email address to register. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and sent to your email/SMS.
  4. Fill Application Form: Provide personal details, educational qualifications, state/UT preference, and other required information. Choose your preferred exam centre.
  5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your Photograph (as per size specification), Signature, and Left-hand thumb impression.
  6. Pay the application fee online: INR 850 for General & OBC, and INR 175 for SC/ST/PwBD/EXSM (Exact fees will be confirmed in the detailed notification).
  7. Verify all details carefully (no editing after final submission) and submit your IBPS Clerk 2026 Application Form.
