IBPS SO Exam Pattern 2025 is designed to assess candidates for various Specialist Officer positions in public sector banks. The exam is divided into Prelims and Mains, with the Prelims consisting of three sections: Reasoning, English Language, and General Awareness (or Quantitative Aptitude for some posts). Candidates who qualify the Prelims will move on to the Mains, which tests professional knowledge relevant to the specific post applied for. The Mains exam includes objective questions for most posts, while Rajbhasha Adhikari also includes a descriptive section.

IBPS SO Mains Exam Pattern 2025

IBPS SO Prelims 2025 qualified candidates are eligible to take the Mains exam. The Mains exam is concerned with the professional knowledge required for each SO post. The examination will be bilingual (English and Hindi) and have to be answered within the specified duration.

IBPS SO Interview 2025

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates). The relative weightage (ratio) of Online Main Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination of CRP SPL-XV and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.

A candidate should qualify both in the Online Main Examination and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process.
