SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria 2025

SSC CPO 2025 eligibility criteria include requirements related to nationality, age, educational qualification, and physical standards. Failure to meet any one of them will result in disqualification.

SSC CPO 2025 Nationality

A candidate must be:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (like Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam, intending to permanently settle in India.

Candidates from categories other than Indian citizens must produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

SSC CPO 2025 Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Final-year students may apply, but they must obtain their degree before the specified date.
  • Male candidates applying for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police must have a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) at the time of Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). Without it, they will not be eligible for Delhi Police SI post.

SSC CPO Selection Process

SSC CPO 2025 selection process involves multiple stages designed to test a candidate’s knowledge, physical fitness, and medical standards. To get selected as a Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police or CAPFs, candidates must clear each stage one by one. The final selection is based on the combined marks of Paper 1 and Paper 2, while the physical and medical tests are qualifying in nature.

Stage 1: Paper 1 (Computer-Based Test)
