UPSC Geo Scientist Application Process 2026: Apply Online till 23 September
UPSC Geo Scientist 2026 application process began on September 3, 2025 and will continue until September 23, 2025. Postgraduates with M. Sc. degree in respective fields as specified in the eligibility criteria can apply online for UPSC Geo Scientists 2026. To apply for UPSC Geo Scientist, candidates need to register themselves at UPSC website and then fill out all the modules of Common Application Form (CAF) which includes DOB, personal details, educational qualification, category details, exam city preferance and pay the application fee.

Upload Documents:
Upload scanned copies of the required documents such as a recent passport-sized photograph, signature, and other supporting documents as specified in the notification.
Submit and Review:
Before final submission, preview all details and documents you have uploaded to ensure everything is accurate. In case, any minor change has to be made, then make corrections. Once satisfied, submit your application.
Pay the Application Fee:
After completion of the application form, pay the fee. For General/OBC/EWS, fee is Rs. 200 and for Female/SC/ST/PwBD no fee is to be paid.
Save Your Confirmation:
After the payment is successful, submit your application form. Candidates should download and print application form and fee receipt. These documents can be required during document verification and Interview stages. So, keep these documents safe.
After submission of application form, UPSC will release admit card for prelims, main and interview, based on the information provided in the application form. UPSC will inform about admit card release by SMS and email.
