UPSC Geo Scientists 2026 Mains exam is descriptive in nature. The question paper will be set in English language only. Candidates who qualify UPSC Geo Scientists Mains exam are called to give Interview at UPSC Bhavan, Delhi. The interview carries a total of 200 marks but doesn’t have any minimum qualifying marks. The number of candidates to be selected for the Personality Test will be about twice the number of vacancies to be filled by UPSC. In the Personality Test, the candidate will be interviewed by the Interview Board(s), which will be constituted by the Commission.
