• UPSC CMS Educational Qualifications

You should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. examination to be eligible for the exam.

If you have not yet passed the M.B.B.S and are in the final year of the exam, then you can also apply, but your admission is provisional and subject to cancellation. If you pass the written examination, you must submit proof of passing the final M.B.B.S. exam by the closing date of the Detailed Application Form. The proof of passing the final M.B.B.S. exam should be issued no later than the closing date of the Detailed Application Form.

If you've not completed your compulsory rotating internship then also you're still eligible for the exam but will only be appointed after completing the internship if you are selected.

• UPSC CMS Age Limit Criteria

The maximum age limit to apply for General Candidates is 32 years as of August 1, 2024. If you wish to apply for Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers, then the upper age limit is 35 years on August 1, 2024. If you belong to any reserved category, then you have age relaxation.
