UPSC CMS 2026 Eligibility Criteria depend on several parameters such as age, nationality, and educational qualification. UPSC CMS Eligibility Criteria 2026 allows candidates with an upper age limit of 32 years for the general category, with relaxations permitted for certain categories. UPSC CMS Nationality Criteria 2026

All Indian Nationals are eligible under UPSC CMS Nationality Criteria 2026. Candidates with the following nationalities can apply for UPSC CMS 2026:

• Citizen of India
• Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan ( Certificate of eligibility must be issued by the Government of India).
• Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) with the intention of permanent settlement in India ( Certificate of eligibility must be issued by the Government of India).

UPSC CMS Educational Qualification 2026

UPSC CMS 2026 Educational Qualification requires candidates to have passed the final year written exam along with the practicals of MBBS from any recognised University. Certain exemptions are possible under some circumstances as follows:

• Candidates who are appearing for the Final Year MBBS Exams are also eligible to apply under the condition of submitting the proof of passing within the assigned deadline.
• Candidates who have not yet completed the compulsory rotating internship are eligible to apply. They are, however, appointed only after the completion of an internship.

UPSC CMS Age Limit 2026

Candidates must not be above 32 years as per UPSC CMS Age Limit 2026. Candidates applying for UPSC CMS 2026 Posts in the Central Health Service must be below 35 years. UPSC has permitted upper age relaxation for certain categories, which is given in the table below:

• Multiple Disabilities from amongst persons under the clauses mentioned above, including deaf-blindness.

Candidates who fulfil UPSC CMS Eligibility Criteria 2026 can apply for UPSC CMS 2026 Exam. A medical examination will be conducted after the interview round to check the candidates' physical standards as per UPSC regulations. They are based on vision and hearing tests, BMI, medical history checking, etc. Candidates are supposed to meet those parameters as well to be considered for appointment.
