RRB ALP Revised Application Status 2026 for CEN 01/2026 was released on October 14, 2026. Candidates who applied for the Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment can check whether their application has been accepted or rejected. RRB ALP 2026 CBT 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted from November 3 to 5, 2026. • Single Application: Submit only one application to avoid rejection.
• Photograph: Upload a clear colour photograph not older than three months and keep extra copies.
• Signature: Upload a clear running signature; capital letters or disconnected signatures may be rejected.
• Thumb Impression: Upload a clear thumb impression.
• Photo Consistency: Ensure the photograph matches across the service certificate and examination stages.
• Category Certificates: SC/ST candidates must provide a caste certificate, while OBC candidates must submit an OBC and non-creamy layer certificate for the relevant financial years.

Reasons for Rejection of RRB ALP Application 2026

RRB ALP applications may be rejected for the following reasons:

• Multiple Applications: Applying to multiple RRBs or submitting more than one application may lead to rejection and debarment from future RRB/RRC exams.
• Invalid Photograph: Blurred, old, black-and-white, unclear, selfie, group, or incorrectly formatted photographs may be rejected.
• Invalid Signature: Signatures in capital letters, unclear, incomplete, or incorrectly formatted images may lead to rejection.
• Debarred Candidates: Candidates listed on any RRB/RRC debarment list are not eligible.
• Other Irregularities: Any discrepancy found during application scrutiny or later recruitment stages may result in rejection.

Rejected Applications: Candidates can check the rejection status and reason on the concerned RRB website. The decision is final, examination fees will not be refunded, and notifications will be sent via SMS and email, not post.

RRB ALP Application Fee 2026

RRB ALP Application Fee 2026, If you are from the General category, you need to pay INR 500; for the rest of the categories, the application fee is INR 250. However, it varies from year to year.

RRB ALP 2026 Modes of Fee Payment
a) Only online fee payment through internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI will be accepted. All applicable service charges shall be borne by the candidate.
b) Fees can be paid by the candidates through the online mode only. There will be no option to pay fee through any other mode. 
c) Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.

Refund of Exam Fee (for those attending CBT1):

(a) All candidates must clearly mention their bank details in their application form (viz., Name of Bank, Name of Account Holder, Account Number and IFSC Code) for receiving the refundable portion of their examination fee (i.e., Rs. 400/- or Rs. 250/- as applicable minus bank charges).
(b) The responsibility for furnishing correct bank account details lies on the candidates, and RRB shall not entertain any correspondence from candidates on this ground.
(c) There will be no refund of examination fee for wrong/incomplete beneficiary details and erroneous/incomplete/rejected applications.

RRB ALP Application Correction Window 2026

RRB ALP 2026 application correction window is now closed. It was available on the official RRB website from June 17 to June 26, 2026. During this period, candidates could modify their submitted application forms by paying a non-refundable correction fee of INR 250.

What After RRB ALP Application Status Check?

RRB ALP candidates with accepted or provisional application status can proceed to the next stages of recruitment. The next steps are:

• Exam City Intimation Slip: Check the allotted exam city.
• Admit Card: Download the admit card before the exam.
• CBT Exam: Appear for the Computer-Based Test on the scheduled date.
• Further Stages: Qualified candidates will proceed to the next stages as per the recruitment process.

Note: Candidates with rejected applications cannot appear for the exam. The rejection reason will be available in their login, and no exam city slip or admit card will be issued.
