Candidates applying for RBI Grade B 2026 exam must meet specific eligibility conditions related to nationality, age limit, educational qualifications, and experience (where applicable). These criteria vary depending on the post.

RBI Grade B 2026 Nationality

Applicants must be either:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, intending to settle permanently, or
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam) with the intention of settling in India permanently.
