Reserve Bank of India (RBI), through Reserve Bank of India Services Board, started RBI Grade B 2026 application process on April 29, 2026, for the recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) under General, DEPR, and DSIM streams. The application process is being conducted online through the official website, rbi.org.in. As per the latest update, the last date to apply online was May 20, 2026, while the application correction window will remain open from May 25 to May 26, 2026 (upto 6:00 PM).

Documents Required for RBI Grade B Application 2026

The documents required to apply for RBI Grade B are as follows:

  • Candidates seeking reservation advantages provided for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWSs/Ex-servicemen must prove that they are eligible for such reservation/relaxation. They should also have all the necessary documents in the prescribed format in order to verify their claim for such benefits. These certificates must be dated on or before the application deadline for the vacancies.
  • A candidate who requires a certificate of eligibility may be admitted to the test, but an offer of employment may be made only when the Government of India issues the required eligibility certificate.
  • All candidates, other than casual or daily rated employees or those serving under the Public Enterprises, who are already in Government Service, Government-owned industrial undertakings, or other similar organisations, whether in a permanent or temporary capacity, are required to submit an undertaking in the Online application that they have informed in writing to their department.
  • In order to be eligible for a reservation, the candidate must have the necessary income and asset certificates in the required format on or before the deadline for applications for the positions.
  • Female applicants who have changed their first/last/middle names after marriage should be aware of this. Candidates who have changed their names will be permitted only if they present an original Gazette Notification/original marriage certificate/affidavit in original, along with a photocopy.
  • Candidates are recommended to keep their email ID/mobile number active in order to receive notifications such as admission letters/interview letters, etc. Candidates should check their e-mails/SMS on a frequent basis. The Board does not use any other means of communication.
  • If a candidate becomes physically disabled during the examination process, he or she must produce a valid document demonstrating that he or she has a disability of 40% or more as defined by the RPWD Act, 2016, in order to receive the benefits of PwBD reservation.
