SSC MTS Syllabus 2025 provides the detailed subjects and topics that candidates need to prepare for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). This exam is held to recruit candidates for Group ‘C’ non-gazetted posts in various government ministries, departments, and offices, as well as Havaldar posts in CBIC and CBN. Both posts are assessed through two sessions of the CBT covering Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension.
SSC MTS Examination Highlights 2025
- SSC MTS exam will be held in Computer-Based Examination (CBE) mode.
- For MTS posts, only the CBE will be conducted, while candidates applying for Havaldar posts will have to appear for both the CBE and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST).
- The question paper will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.
- The selection process differs slightly for the two posts. For MTS, the final selection will be based on performance in Session II of the Computer-Based Examination, as Session I will only be qualifying in nature.
- For Havaldar, candidates must qualify both Session-II of CBE and the PET/PST to be considered for final selection
SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2025
SSC MTS 2025 exam will be conducted in two computer-based sessions on the same day, and both sessions are compulsory. For the Havaldar post, candidates must also clear the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
