SSC GD Constable Application Process 2026 has been started online by Staff Selection Commission on December 1, 2025, and will end on December 31, 2025. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria and then register themselves at one-time registration (OTR), provide personal and educational details, upload required documents (photo, signature), choose exam centres, and pay the application fee online before January 1, 2026 (11 PM). After the online application form is over, SSC will open SSC GD application correction window 2026 for a short period of time on January 8-10, 2026.

How to Apply for SSC GD 2026?

SSC GD 2026 application process is conducted online from December 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, at the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in. Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for SSC GD 2026:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website: Go to the official SSC website ssc.gov.in. Navigate to the “Apply” section and click on “Apply”.

Step 2: One-Time Registration (OTR)

• In case candidates are new users, click on “Register Now”.
• Enter personal details like Full Name, Father’s Name, DOB, Gender, Category, Aadhaar Number or any other valid ID, and Contact Information (Email & Mobile Number).
• Create Login Credentials, which include setting a Username and Password. Provide a Security Question and Answer for account recovery.
• Verify by completing the CAPTCHA and clicking “Submit”. Also, verify your email and mobile number via OTPs.

Step 3: Login and Access Application: Log in using your Username and Password and select “SSC GD Constable 2026” from the list of available exams. Click on “Apply” to start the application process.

Step 4: Fill in Application Details

• Now fill in personal Information, which includes Father's Name, Mother's Name, DOB, Gender, Category, Nationality, and Contact Information.
• Fill in your educational Qualifications, which include Details of Class 10 or equivalent examination, Board/University Name, Year of Passing, and Marks Obtained.
• Address Details that include Permanent Address and Correspondence Address.
• Examination Details that include the Choice of Examination Centre and Medium of Examination.

Step 5: Upload Documents

• Upload a scanned colour passport-size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB).
• Upload signature that is scanned signature in the size of 10 KB to 20 KB and in the format of JPEG.

Step 6: Preview and Submit: Before submitting, review all the entered details. Make necessary corrections if required. Then agree to the “Declaration” and click on “Final Submit”.

Step 7: Pay Application Fee: Candidates must pay the required application fee as per the category they belong to.

Step 8: Print Application Form: After successful submission and payment, download and print the application form. Keep a copy for future reference and examination purposes.

Documents Required for SSC GD Application Form 2026

Before filling SSC GD 2026 online application form, candidates need to keep the following documents beforehand:

• Valid Photo ID Proof: It includes Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Licence, or any other government-issued ID.
• Matriculation (Class 10th) Certificate/Marksheet: for verifying DOB, roll number, board name, and year of passing.
• Category Certificate (if applicable): SC, ST, and OBC candidates must upload a valid caste certificate.
• Disability Certificate (if applicable): for PwD candidates as per government format.
• Active Mobile Number and Email ID: for OTP verification and receiving registration details.
• Scanned Photograph: It should be a recent colour photo (taken within the last 3 months, of dimensions 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm, file size 20 KB- 50 KB, format of JPG/JPEG, and must include the date on the photo.
• Scanned Signature: It should be on white paper with black or blue ink. Dimensions are about 4.0 cm × 2.0 cm, file size is 10 KB-20 KB, format of JPG/JPEG.

SSC GD 2026 Application Form Correction Window

SSC GD Constable 2026 correction window will be activated after the application form filling ends, that is, January 8-10, 2026. This facility allows candidates to rectify any mistakes made during the registration or application process.
