Details Mentioned on SSC GD Final Result PDF

The SSC GD Final Result 2025 is published as a merit list PDF. This merit list PDF contains important information about the exam and the candidates who have qualified. The following details are mentioned in the SSC GD Final Result PDF:

  • Exam Conducting Authority: Name of the organization (Staff Selection Commission) that conducted the exam.
  • Examination Name: The name of the exam (e.g., “Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in NCB Examination, 2025”).
  • Post Name: The post for which the recruitment is conducted (Constable General Duty).
  • Candidate’s Name: Name of the candidate who has been selected (as per the application).
  • Roll Number: The roll number of the candidate as given during the exam.
  • Category: The category of the candidate (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc.).
  • Sub-Category: Any sub-category or special category (if applicable, such as Ex-Serviceman, etc.).

What After SSC GD 2025 Final Result?

After the final result is declared, candidates who find their names in the merit list might wonder what the next steps are before joining their respective forces. The final result is not the end of the recruitment process; there are several post-result formalities and steps involved in the appointment. Posting is not given immediately after the result – the process can take a few months and involves multiple stages. Here is what happens after the SSC GD 2025 final result:

  1. Force Allocation: Along with the final result declaration, each selected candidate is allotted to a particular force (such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, Assam Rifles, SSF, or NCB) based on merit, preference, and vacancies. The force allocation is published in the result or a separate allocation list.
  2. Dossier Preparation: After allocation, the SSC forwards the complete dossier of each selected candidate to the respective force. This dossier includes all the candidate’s records: application details, results, documents verified, character and antecedent verification reports, and medical examination reports.
  3. Joining Letter Issuance: Once the concerned force receives and processes the dossiers, they will issue a joining letter (appointment letter) to the candidates. Typically, within a few weeks (often 2–3 weeks) after the result, the forces start sending out joining letters. These letters are either sent by post or through email, and sometimes the announcement is also made on the official website of the respective force.
  4. Training: The joining letter will contain details about the training program – including the training center location, reporting date, and instructions. All newly recruited constables are required to undergo training. The training duration varies by force but generally lasts around 8 to 11 months. During training, candidates will receive a stipend/salary as per the rules of that force and will be oriented with the duties and responsibilities of a GD Constable.
  5. Final Posting: After successfully completing the training, candidates are given their final posting in a unit or battalion of the allotted force. At this stage, the recruits become full-fledged constables of their force and are deployed to their duty locations. The initial posting could be in any state or region as per the force’s requirement.

  1. SSC GD 2025 Final Cut Off

SSC GD 2025 Final Cut Off

The SSC GD Final Cut Off 2025 has been released along with the final result on the official SSC website. The cut-off marks represent the scores of the last selected candidates in each category for each force. These marks are crucial as they indicate the minimum performance required to secure a GD Constable position in the 2025 exam. The cut-offs have been provided force-wise (for each CAPF or department like BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, Assam Rifles, NCB, SSF) and category-wise (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc.), and are different for male and female candidates due to separate vacancies. Key points about SSC GD final cut-off marks:

  • The cut-off is decided based on the difficulty level of the exam, the number of vacancies in that category/force, and candidates’ overall performance. Higher competition or fewer vacancies lead to higher cut-offs, and vice versa.
  • SSC has provided the cut-off details in a PDF, which lists the category-wise vacancies, number of candidates selected, and the cut-off score (with tie-breaking Part-A and Part-B marks) for each force and state. Below, we summarise some of the important cut-off marks from the final result.

Final Cut-Off Marks (Male Candidates – All India Vacancies in NCB & SSF): The following table shows the official cut-off scores for male candidates in the forces that had all-India vacancies (Narcotics Control Bureau and SSF). These are the minimum scores required in each category for the last male candidate selected in these forces:

Force (Male) Category Final Cut-Off Marks (2025)
NCB ESM 109.38111
NCB OBC 151.67957
NCB ST 144.22978
NCB UR 152.04221
SSF ESM 104.50641
SSF EWS 148.26714
SSF OBC 149.78594
SSF SC 142.60580
SSF ST 143.01681
SSF UR 150.75218

Notes: “UR” refers to Unreserved (General) category and “ESM” is Ex-Servicemen. The cut-off marks are normalized scores. The Part-A and Part-B marks (scores in specific sections of the CBT) for the last selected candidates were also provided in the official write-up – for instance, the highest cut-off (NCB UR 152.04221) corresponds to Part-A = 37.75 and Part-B = 33.25 for that candidate. However, for brevity only total cut-off marks are listed above.

Final Cut-Off Marks (Female Candidates – All India Vacancies in NCB): For female candidates, the only all-India vacancies were in NCB (there were no female vacancies in SSF for 2025). The table below shows the cut-off marks for female candidates in NCB:

Force (Female) Category Final Cut-Off Marks (2025)
NCB EWS 144.93140
NCB OBC 147.10565
NCB UR 149.12554

Note: In NCB (Female), one ESM vacancy was advertised but remained unfilled (no female ex-serviceman qualified), hence no cut-off for ESM female in NCB. Similarly, there were no SC/ST female vacancies in NCB, so those categories are not listed (indicated by nil vacancies in the official result).
